Guido Bruschtein - Woodworker
Guido Bruschtein began working at Joseph Curtin Studios in March 2000, where he assists Joseph Curtin in building both traditional and innovative instruments. Guido was born in Midland, Michigan in 1968 (Go Tigers!) and has lived and studied in Bogota, Colombia and Buenos Aires, Argentina. He earned a bachelors degree in Languages and International Trade from the College of Business at Eastern Michigan University (Go Hurons!) and has worked in marketing at Domino Farms, in environmental field work at Air Monitoring and Building Inspecting, and currently works as a bookseller. An avid disciple of music from an early age, Guido plays percussion, guitar, and many other instruments, and has written a number of musical compositions for himself and for the band Pete Moss & the Fungis, some of which was used in the movies “The Four Corners of Nowhere” and “Autumn Leaves”. Guido also enjoys basketball, soccer, and “the up-and-coming, grass-roots sport of the new millennium, Disc Golf.”
