
Violin Acoustics
Joseph Curtin became interested in violin acoustics
when he met researcher Carleen Hutchins in the early 1980s. His interest
intensified after moving to Ann Arbor and meeting
Gabriel Weinreich, a University
of Michigan physicist and leading authority on the physics of the violin.
Curtin has since worked with many scientists and researchers.
